Ive Got A Faint Rattle Grind Noise Coming On Tick Over

i noticed the other day in the cold weather when i started my sharan 115 pd engined car up to clear the screens and that off , there was a very very slight grinding noise on tick over coming from underneath , mine is a 6 speed model 2003 plate , are these prone for anything .

i had a 1.8T mk1 sharan before this and it had a similar noise that was the flywheel that had gone on that so i got rid quick , i just hope its not that again , like i say you can hardly hear it , also its had 2 new wheel bearings on the front because i had a droning sound but now its come back 6 months later , it might be related who knows??
